Jessica L Tischaefer (J.TISCH) is an audio/video producer and musician currently based in Oshkosh, WI.
She graduated from high school in 2018, attending Kettle Moraine School for Arts and Performance. While in high school, Jessie completed a portfolio project using cutting-edge virtual reality technology to create a music video for her original song "People Change."
In 2023, Tischaefer graduated from The Honors College at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Science in Radio/TV/Film and Psychology and a minor in Music Industry. In fulfillment of her Honors Thesis, she created a documentary film exploring the cognitive benefits of engaging with music throughout a lifetime. The film went on to become a finalist at the Raw Science Film Festival in Los Angeles and receive an honorable mention at the Sound and Vision International Film & Technology Festival. In addition to this project, Tischaefer worked on a variety of different productions throughout her time at UW Oshkosh. She filled the role of producer, writer, and technical director on the original Titan TV series News You Need. She also directed a music news special on the Titan TV series UWO in 30 titled "Beat Breakdown." The episode went on to win 2nd place in the category of Public Affairs/Talk Show (TV) at the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association' Student Awards for Excellence.
Tischaefer is currently working as an assistant store manager and social media manager at Eroding Winds Record Shop in Oshkosh and Appleton, WI. She is also an editor for De La Teja Studios in Appleton. Her career-long aim is to foster creativity and collaboration in today's entertainment media.
